Forgiveness

Dear Jesus,

Forgiveness isn’t easy. Sometimes I want to hold on to hurt. But I know it only hurts me in the end.

You forgave me — completely, unconditionally — and now You ask me to do the same. Help me forgive those who’ve hurt me. And help me forgive myself, too.

I don’t want to live in bitterness or shame. I want to walk in freedom. And forgiveness is part of that.

Show me how to let go. Heal what’s broken. And let grace lead the way.
